Botanical Collage Workshop with Artist Jody Graff

Join Radical Americana artist Jody Graff to create your own quilt collage artwork using provided natural materials like leaves and petals. A brief overview introduces other artists who use botanicals and the process of collecting and pressing botanicals. Then, the hands-on process includes sketching at small scale, cut-paper compositions at full scale, selecting leaves and petals, cutting botanicals for a selected composition, and finally gluing everything down into a finished artwork. The skills learned will allow participants to create future artworks using materials collected in their own yard, garden, local spot, or travel destination.
