Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum is a natural paradise located on a beautiful stretch of the Delaware River in Bensalem, PA, just north of Philadelphia. Andalusia is a great place to spend a day exploring history and nature.

Gardens Admission

Stroll the spectacular formal gardens and native woodlands on a self-guided tour of the Andalusia grounds. Explore the remnants of an 1830s greenhouse and other structures that dot the 50-acre property. Take in sweeping views of the Delaware River and bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn or under the shade of a tree.

$15 per person. Free for children 12 and under.

Does not include access to the Big House.

Big House Tour plus Gardens Admission

On this one-hour tour, you’ll discover exquisite interiors and hear stories of the family who lived at Andalusia from the 1790s to the 1970s, including Nicholas Biddle, President of the Second Bank of the United States. The Big House is a designated National Historic Landmark with a unique art collection, offering an unparalleled look into our nation’s past and an inspiring escape for visitors today.

$30 per person. Free for children 12 and under.

Includes Gardens Admission.

PRIVATE & GROUP TOURS

Andalusia is open year-round, Monday through Friday, for private and group tours. Bus parking is available for large groups (up to 50 people), which are encouraged to come on Wednesdays and Thursdays. During winter months, Andalusia can only accommodate small groups (up to 12 people).

Historic house tours are $30/person ($150 minimum) for private groups. Garden admissions without the house tours, are $20/person ($100 minimum) for private groups.
