Garden Hours: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturdays)
Stroll the spectacular formal gardens and native woodlands on a self-guided tour of the Andalusia grounds. Explore the remnants of an 1830s greenhouse and other structures that dot the 50-acre property. Take in sweeping views of the Delaware River and bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn or under the shade of a tree.
- $15 per person. Free for children 12 and under.
- This ticket does not include access to the Big House.

Big House Tour plus Gardens Admission

Tour Times: 10:00 am & 1:00 pm (plus 11:30 am & 2:30 pm on Saturdays)
Discover exquisite interiors and hear stories of the family who lived at Andalusia from the 1790s to the 1970s, including Nicholas Biddle, President of the Second Bank of the United States. As a designated National Historic Landmark with a unique art collection, the Big House offers an unparalleled look into our nation’s past and an inspiring escape for visitors today.
- $30 per person. Free for children 12 and under.
- Tours are one hour long and start promptly at their scheduled times.
- This ticket also includes Gardens Admission (see hour above).

Open Saturday Programming
Seasonal tours, workshops, and activities are offered throughout the year on Andalusia’s six open Saturdays.
Unless otherwise noted, participation is free for Members or with purchase of a Gardens Admission or Big House Tour. Program capacity may be limited by program type, weather, or other factors. Andalusia is open 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
- April 1: Spring Bloom Garden Walk with Andalusia Gardeners, 11am & 2pm
- May 20: Garden Photography Day: Photographer Sandy Stolzman will be shooting in the gardens from about 10am to 1pm, offering technical tips and demonstrating her process. Bring a camera, or smartphone, to take your own pictures of Andalusia’s beautiful scenery.
- June 10: Rose Garden Tour and Book Signing with Jenny Rose Carey, author of The Ultimate Flower Gardener’s Guide, 11am & 2pm
- October 28: Fall Tree Tour with Andrew Bunting, Vice President of Horticulture, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and Eva Monheim 11am & 2pm
- November 4: End of Season Fall Festival, with lively nature walks with naturalist Mike Weilbacher, offered at 11am & 2pm, local beer on tap (for purchase) from Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company

Champagne Garden Tours
June 10
4:30 – 6:30 pm
Join us on the grand porch of the Big House, overlooking the Delaware River, for a glass of champagne and light refreshments. Horticulturalist Kristin Biddle will give a guided tour of the formal gardens, returning you to the Big House for a chance to relax or stroll the River Walk.
- $65 per person.
- Access to the Big House is not included with this tour.
PRIVATE & GROUP TOURS
Andalusia is open year-round, Monday through Friday, for private and group tours.
Tours may be scheduled between 10 am – 2 pm, Monday through Friday. Large groups are encouraged to come on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

- $50/person ($250 minimum)
Note: there are no available restroom facilities from November 6 through March 31. Please plan your trip accordingly.
