oPENING mARCH 30, 2026
In 2026, Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum will present new works by artists Sophie Glenn and Jody Graff. While Glenn recreates traditional furniture designs using steel, Graff makes stunning abstract composition from pressed leaves. For this exhibition, both artists will take their inspiration from Andalusia’s historic and natural collections.
Radical Americana, a series of exhibitions organized by The Clay Studio and other arts and cultural institutions in the Philadelphia area, highlights contemporary artists working with craft materials, such as wood, clay, fiber, glass, and metal.
The influential year of 1776, and the subsequent commemorations in Philadelphia in the years 1876, 1926, and 1976, will serve as points of research for these artists to gain inspiration and add their voices to current dialogue about our nation’s present and future.
Radical Americana is part of ArtPhilly and a collaboration with Philly250.
