Radical Americana
April – July 2026
Andalusia Historic House, Gardens & Arboretum is an exhibiting partner of Radical Americana, a series of exhibitions organized by The Clay Studio and other arts and cultural institutions in the Philadelphia area.
Contemporary artists working with craft materials — such as wood, clay, fiber, glass, and metal — will display their art in historical settings throughout the region, including the Big House at Andalusia.
The influential year of 1776, and the subsequent commemorations in Philadelphia in the years 1876, 1926, and 1976, will serve as points of research for these artists to gain inspiration and add their voices to current dialogue about our nation’s present and future.
Radical Americana is part of ArtPhilly and a collaboration with Philly250.
